Christmas in The USA....

Hi All, and thanks for stopping by.
Another Christmas has come, and gone yet again.
Amazing as the build up to it seems to go on for many months, and yet within a day, it's gone, and forgotten with.
Is it just a USA thing ?. Do they just want to forget about it that quickly ?.
It's amazing how many Brits feel that it is being here that has made the difference with the celebration of Christmas.
It's too commercial here, or is it a worldwide thought nowadays ?.
Feel free to add your comments, and lets hear how everyone feels about Christmas nowadays.
I myself can't believe how quickly have their trees down after the day. What happened to keeping the tree, and decorations up for longer ?. For all the months of the build up at least lets be able to celebrate the ritual a bit longer.
Seems the only thing we are guaranteed of at this time of the year is a big credit card bill.
Maybe the thought was the same for our parents when we were younger, and the age old moan is catching up on us, well myself, and a few others at least ?...

Anyhow, feel free to add your comment to this, and lets see if at least this ol' Brit is being daft, or if the feeling is mutual to those who choose to read this blog.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and I wish you all a Happy New Year.

Cheers
